A Trip to the Zoo

February 2, 2009

…A photo essay:

Herbie and Moo, getting ready to feed the goats and deer (and DONKEYS, Moo insisted – they must have been invisible donkeys):

Herbie was slightly concerned that the goat was going to mistake Moo’s fingers for a tasty snack:

Yes, I’m talkin’ ’bout you, Goat:

Then Moo demanded pink birds.  And happily, the zoo complied:

And Moo was pleased (or seemed so – hard to tell behind those sunglasses):

Then we finally got to ride the train:

No, I don’t know why I look like I’m afraid of the train.

Three cheers for the zoo!

I see in the picture that Moo got one of those Nalgene bottles (pink too, very cute). How does she like it?

She loves it! For the first couple days, she wouldn’t let it out of her grasp and showed it to everyone who crossed her path, saying, “My new cup! It’s very VERY pink!”
