Snow White

January 29, 2009

Rosalind and I saw Snow White last night and felt greatly relieved to find that she seemed much more herself – deeply offended by the very existence of jello at one moment, deeply touched by a card from a friend the next moment.  That’s much more like our SW.  She seemed  a little perplexed/annoyed that everyone kept yammering on about how much better she looked – I guess it’s everyone’s way of NOT saying, “DUDE.  You did not look so hot a few days ago!”  Not exactly homecoming queen material.  But she’s gotten some good news since then, and last night she looked much more like a fairytale princess, waiting for a magic kiss from her handsome prince – except she does have a handsome prince already, and I’m pretty sure they’ve already tried the magic kiss thing.  I’m afraid this is one of those cursed “modern” fairytales, where the princess has to do a lot of the work herself, along with a team of medical professionals.  MAGIC medical professionals, that is…

I can’t believe it took three readings before I figured out who you were talking about.

Glad to hear she is doing better.
